Shari Lewis

Hello!  My name is Shari, and I am a tutor with Reading Connections.  I received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology and English from Grace College , and received my teaching certification in secondary English from Purdue University.  Socio-linguistics and language acquisition are fascinating to me and I love to make learning to read and decode language fun for students.  I believe that difficulties in learning should never define a student, and that anything is possible.  I understand the role that parents play in encouraging their child to learn, and that siblings and friends play a huge role in each child’s journey.  I’m grateful to be a part of this team and to be a part of helping children and their families grow and learn!
