Renee Parker

Hello! My name is Renee Parker and I have been an educator for 24 years. I have a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree in Special Education. I have had several different positions in the educational setting. I have taught students with varying disabilities including severe to mild disabilities. I have taught special education preschool, self-contained lifeskills, resource rooms, and general education- 1st grade. More recently I have been an Instructional Coach, Distance Education Teacher, and Title 1 Reading Interventionist at Madison Elementary. I am currently serving as the Dyslexia Specialist for Warsaw Community Schools. My continuing education has focused on Reading Interventions and Reading Disabilities including dyslexia. I am also currently working on my Dyslexia Specialist Certification and my Orton Gillingham Tutor Certification. I feel so blessed and excited to be part of Reading Connections. I love seeing students that struggle in reading become confident, independent readers.
