Hello! My name is Rebecca and I have been practicing physical therapy for 18 years. I received my Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Marquette University and my Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Washington University in St. Louis. I started my career in outpatient orthopedics but made the jump to pediatrics in 2006.
Serving as an Indiana First Steps therapist for 7 years, I saw the need for an outpatient pediatric facility in our community. With the help of Jacob’s Ladder Pediatric Rehab in Valparaiso, I opened a pediatric clinic here in Warsaw in 2013. We grew quickly and became our own entity, Joe’s Kids, in February 2014. I have worked with a wide variety of ages and diagnoses and my continuing education has focused on: NDT, sensory integration, seating and positioning, orthotic management and treatment techniques for neurological disorders. With the growth of our clinic, my job focus has shifted to administrative duties, but I continue to see a small caseload of kids and hope to always do so. What I love most about my job is seeing our children face new challenges and succeed.
