Kristin Hilbish, MA, CCC-SLP
Speech Therapist
Hello! My name is Kristin Hilbish and I am a Speech-Language Pathologist. I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology and my graduate degree in speech at Indiana University. It has been my privilege to work with children and their families for over 26 years. During this time, I have worked in a variety of settings: schools, Head Start, First Steps and hospital outpatient. I am specially trained in Beckman Oral-Motor therapy, SCERTS autism intervention, Hanen parent program, Social Thinking, Food-chaining (feeding aversion), Alternative Augmentative Communication (AAC), and the Kaufman apraxia program.
I enjoy using this knowledge to help children reach their full potential, providing families with resources to further this progress. Each child has specific gifts, as well as needs, and it is my joy to learn about what makes them unique. Creativity and problem-solving are integral parts of my therapy techniques. I am excited to join the amazing team here at Joe’s Kids and endeavor together to help children grow!
