Amy Arscott

Hi! I’m Amy Arscott and am currently enrolled at the B.E.A.R. Reading Center in South Bend, Indiana to become a certified Orton-Gillingham tutor. When I learned effective one-to-one intervention makes a significant impact in the learning experience of students with dyslexia, I was excited to join Joe’s Kid’s team! I earned a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science from Bowling Green State University and worked in that field many years. In 2003, I began working as a substitute teacher, and also worked as a paraprofessional, group reading instructor and technology instructor over the years. I love interacting with students of all ages and witnessing their successes!
